HP may cut 25,000 jobs

Hewlett-Packard Co. is thinking over cutting around 8 to 10% jobs, which means at least 25,000 employees may lose their jobs. The company is planning to take such a move because the new CEO Meg Whitman is striving hard to bring growth to the company.

The DL1608 is equipped with the Master Fader app that delivers remarkable DAW mixing features and functionality to the live surrounding. The best part is that the engineers can freely move at the venue and still adjust or fine-tune the mix from any place in the live show or concert.

The multiple screens of the Master Fader app provides fader control, EQ and compression, gate setting, and access to reverb as well as delay effects. The mix snapshots can be saved and recalled later just by the touch of your finger. The iPad can be locked when the mixer is part of a permanent installation, however, it has a wireless connection that enable unlocking of iPad to adjust mixes. It supports more than one iPad simultaneously to allow the engineers to control the mix. The Mackie’s modern and sleek in design iPad controlled mixer is priced at around $1,000 and will be available in May or June.
