ViewSonic Launches Viewpad 7e for Rs. 13,000
February 7, 2012: A consumer electronics maker, ViewSonic has launched a new 7-inch tablet running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) in India for Rs. 13,000. This new tablet is called as Viewpad 7e. The tablet will be made available at all the leading stores including Reliance Digital Stores for February 9, 2012. This 7-inch tab comes with shatter proof glass, rubberized grip and a pearl white finish. With the tablet’s aspect ratio – 4:3, company claims it to be very suitable for the eBooks and applications.
The camera sports dual camera – rear camera with 3MP resolutions and a front VGA camera. Viewpad 7e supports HDMI output allowing you to connect it to your Television set also. Its 1GHz processor completely supports HD videos of 1080p resolution. Along with 4GB internal storage capacity, the Viewpad 7e has the option of extending its storage capacity up to 32GB with a micro SD card.
At the launch ceremony, Mr. Ajay Sharma (Country Manager for ViewSonic India) said, “ViewPad 7e delivers a powerful entertainment experience at an affordable price. It’s the newest addition to our ViewPad tablet series, which are equipped with the latest high-performance technologies.”
About Viewpad 7e, the company stated: “The Viewpad 7e comes with a book-like cover, and is the ideal multimedia tablet for students or businesspeople that enjoy reading books, watching videos and playing games on the go. Built-in Bluetooth and WiFi capability allow users to download their favourite YouTube videos, games and music.”
Viewpad 7e of the ViewSonic has received positive reviews globally. It has been recognised as one of the few best tablets on the market by the European media.
